Buffalo Capial Partners, L.P. is currently
comprised of two investment professionals and four advisory board members.
Investment Professionals:
James G. Turner Mr. Turner
received his B.A. from Amherst
College. From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Turner was a Principal at New York-based
Ardshiel, a $150MM Private Equity Fund with affiliation to GE Investment Company. Prior to joining Ardshiel, Mr. Turner was
an Associate in Chemical Bank’s Structured Finance Division, specializing in middle market leveraged buyouts. Mr. Turner
has been on the Boards of Cellu-Tissue Holdings, Golden State Vintners, Avanti Petroleum, Wing Industries, Atrium Companies,
HB&G Holdings, and several other companies. Over the past ten years Mr. Turner has closed over 30 transactions, primarily
in the smaller middle market.
Advisory Board:
BCP’s Advisory Board provides
ongoing advice and guidance to the General Partner. The Board also reviews each transaction of the Fund prior to closing.
Each member of the Board is an investor in the Fund and represents the quality
of our investors.
Kenneth T. White Mr. White
is currently Chairman, CEO and President of W-H Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:WHQ), a company that he founded in 1989 and has
grown to be a prominent oil field service company in the U.S. Mr. White has led the company through rapid growth from the
initial acquisition with $4 million in sales, through more than 10 acquisitions to over $150 million in sales. Mr. White has
over 30 years of experience in purchasing, managing and investing in small and medium sized companies in the oil and gas,
plastics, publishing, plumbing and mobile home industries. He has completed over 30 acquisitions in his career and has provided
an extremely high return to his investors. Mr. White has been a client and investor with Ardshiel for over 8 years.
Jeffrey
P. Sangalis
Mr. Sangalis
is a founder of Rice Sangalis Toole & Wilson, a leading investment firm
providing capital for middle market companies throughout the United States with approximatley $900 million under management. His
background includes twenty years professional experience in the commercial, investment and merchant banking fields. Prior to forming RSTW in 1989, Mr. Sangalis was a Vice President with First Texas Merchant Banking Group,
a subordinated debt lender, and a Vice President with Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank). Mr. Sangalis was also employed with Bank of America and its predecessors in various commercial lending
capacities. Mr. Sangalis currently serves as a director and advisory director
on numerous RSTW portfolio company boards and is a past two term President and current board member of the Houston Venture
Capital Association. Mr. Sangalis received a B.S. from the Indiana University
School of Business, an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
from the Association of Investment Management and Research.
John G. Turner Mr.
Turner is currently Vice Chairman of ING Americas, President of ING Asset Management and a member of the Executive Management
Committee of ING’s Parent Company in Holland. ING is one of the largest insurance and financial service
conglomerates in the world, with over $20 Billion in market cap. ING Asset Management
has over $100 Billion under management in the U.S. Mr. Turner was previously Chairman, CEO and President of
ReliaStar, a Minneapolis based insurance and financial services company, which was purchased by ING in October 2000. Mr. Turner has been or is currently on the Board of Directors of several other companies and industry groups,
including Hormel Foods, American College
of Life Insurance, Abbott Northwestern Hospitals, and Pilgrim Mutual Funds.
